ChemWell is a state-of-the-art automatic instrument different from any other system available today. You program it to run EIA or chemistry assays.

VERSATILE

Open system means you can program and re-program new test applications anytime you need to change or expand the use of your instrument system. Just think of all the tests you can do! Create your own protocols, panels, and profiles. Design your own rack and bottle sizes. Determine the speeds and other fine parameters of each assay if you wish. ChemWell can be as automatic or as manual as you make it



FLEXIBLE

Specimens and reagents may be loaded in any order giving the instrument true random access capability. In the chemistry mode, groups of 4 wells are timed together. In EIA mode, each strip of 8 wells is processed together. In both modes, plate maps may either be arranged differently for each use, or they may be stored for quick set up of routine panels. Removable racks can be stored in the refrigerator, prefilled and ready for next use. Program the 8-probe wash head to clean and recycle wells.
The computer will help you position samples and reagents correctly by displaying complete plate and rack layouts.



FAST

ChemWell was further optimized to read 4 wells simultaneously. MPK (massively parallel kinetics) improves throughput without compromising precision. Typically ChemWell processes 2 overlapping groups of 4 kinetic tests at the same time. That yields more than 120 kinetic results per hour. Batches of endpoint assays are even faster, approximately 240 tests per hour.

ChemWell™ is PC controlled and runs under Microsoft^® Windows95^® or Windows NT^® for easy step - by - step operation. Load a rack of sample tubes, a rack of reagents, and a standard microplate. Select a work load on the computer verifying the proper placement of samples and reagents. Clear step - by - step menus provide easy access to options. Built-in system monitoring.
